'The trip to Beijing was very enlightening and enriching. I had an amazing time meeting fellow camp members from all around the world and learned many new things. Moreover, the language and cultural immersion gave me great insight on much about Chinese people. I studied Chinese 2 years before visiting Beijing, yet I feel I learned more in those 21 days then I learned my 1st year of learning the language.' Trent, GLC Teen

What GLC's partners are saying…

'I am so glad that you are considering a trip to China to understand her language and her people. We can all learn things by reading books or doing research on the Internet but there is nothing quite like visiting a county and living there and spending some time there to begin to really learn the language and the culture. …My very best wishes to all of you and I hope that many of you will take this opportunity or a similar opportunity in the future… .'
